The awe-inspiring pike is probably the most common and most caught fish in the region. Catching a fish weighing more than 10 kg is no fluke – hard work and dedication pay off also here.

The best season for catching pike – especially the huge ones – is from a week or two after the sea has unfrozen until the end of May, and again from October until the sea freezes again. The professional services of a guide and the equipment fitting the season give you a fair chance of making the catch of a lifetime – all around the year!

The idea is not to fill a freezer so after the photoshoot we set especially the grand mother fish back to the sea. They are very important in maintaining a quality fish population in the region. We’ll eat the fish that are of reasonable size and possibly harmed.

The necessary fishing licenses are included. We charge an extra fee for preparing the fish.

Warning: it’s not only the pike that may get hooked on when you start fly-casting pike! Hooking a pike on the fly is one of angling’s great moments: it makes no difference if you are a seasoned fly fisherman or a total novice – there is no beating the buzz this style of pike fishing can deliver.

We’ll show you the ropes – or the pike may – if you are a beginner. This fishing tour is perfect also for the seasoned fishermen looking for a sure thrill. Feel the weight and let the battle begin!

In this region we normally jig for perch and pike-perch (zander). The high seasons for pike-perch is in May-June and in August-October, best season for perch normally is from the end of June until end of October.
